Climb aboard this open-top bus for a complete tour of Washington, DC. Commentary will be provided by a guide (in English) or an audio guide available in several languages, revealing all kinds of facts and stories about each museum and monument you pass. You will be able to hop on and off at any stop, at any time, and as often as you would like, so take advantage of the bus tour to make your way from one attraction to another. The bus stops are ideally located close to Washington's top attractions and museums !

With the "Explore" pass, enjoy a scenic ride at dusk to enjoy the sunset on DC's monuments (only available in the summer, end of July to beginning of August)!

When making your booking you will be asked to choose one of the following options:

  • "Discover": access to multi-stop buses for 1 day + 1 hour free bike rental
  • "Essential": access to multi-stop buses for 2 days + 1 hour free bike rental + one cab boat trip + -25% on the night tour
  • "Explore": access to multi-stop buses for 3 days + 1 hour free bike rental + one cab boat trip + -25% on the night tour

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Validity of your ticket: 1, 2 or 3 days depending on your option
  • Times: service generally runs from 9:30am to 6:30pm (the last bus will leave at 6pm in summer and at 4pm in winter)
  • Frequency: departures every 30 minutes approx.
  • Duration of the tour: 2hrs approx. (full circuit without leaving the bus)
  • You can hop on and off the bus at any stop, at any time and as often as you wish
  • The first stop is located at L'Enfant Plaza
  • Not all of the buses are equipped with audio guides. Approximately every other bus on the red circuit offer this service. Before getting on the bus, you are welcome to ask the driver if audio guides are available onboard. If they are not, you can choose to wait for the next bus
  • The activity is free for children under the age of 5 who can sit on their parents' lap
