Description

You will start your tour with a walk through the historic heart of Venice to discover the city's major sites, including:

  • Saint Mark's Campanile
  • The Clock Tower
  • The Procuratie
  • Campo Santa Maria Formosa
  • Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo
  • Marco Polo's House
  • The Malibran Theater

You will then head to Saint Mark's Square. With your priority-access ticket you can enter the Doge's Palace without delay and explore its luxurious interiors. Once inside, your guide will tell you all about the history of the building, the ancient seat of Venetian political power.

Admire the beauty of the Doge's Palace: the "Alleys of Power", the Golden Staircase with its ceiling decorated in white and gold, and finally the Piombi prison, where Casanova was once held.

Next, you'll make your way to Saint Mark's Basilica for a total immersion in Baroque and Byzantine art. Marvel at the walls adorned with golden mosaics as your guide leads you to the Treasury to admire unique Byzantine works of art!

The tour will end at Saint Mark's Square.
