Suggested visits: Explore the traditional neighborhoods of Asakusa and Ueno, home to the beautiful Senso-ji Temple and Sumida Park, and continue your stroll through Yanaka, often referred to as "Old Tokyo". If you're curious about electronics and manga, head to Akihabara, where you'll find the wildest video games, childhood manga, and cosplay culture, immersing yourself in a unique world!

Day 4: Tokyo / Hakone
Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Hakone (transfer at Odawara). Free day.
Suggested visits: Here, you'll encounter Mount Fuji, Japan's true symbol. Start by visiting Hakone-jinja Shrine with its large vermillion Torii, then take a boat across Lake Ashi to enjoy views of Mount Fuji. Continue by cable car to Owakudani to see the impressive sulfuric fumaroles.
This is an unmissable stop if you want to immerse yourself in Japanese culture: experience a night in a Ryokan, an authentic Japanese inn, where you can enjoy a zen moment and relax in one of the famous Onsens (hot springs) after a day of sightseeing. Day 5: Hakone / Kyoto
Breakfast in Ryokan and depart for Kyoto (transfer at Odawara). Free day.

Day 6: Kyoto

Suggested visits: Take a zen walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and visit the Tenryu-ji Temple. Continue to the Golden Pavilion, Kinkaku-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 7: Kyoto

Suggested visits: Visit the magnificent Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its red torii gates, and then head to Tofuku-ji, a Zen temple known for its beautiful gardens. Explore the traditional Higashiyama district in the south of Kyoto, where you’ll find the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Maruyama-koen Park, and Chion-in Temple. Further north, don’t miss Nanzen-ji, another famous Zen temple.

Day 8: Kyoto

Suggested visits: Wander through Gion, famous for its Geishas, and visit Nishiki Market, known for its size and variety of local produce. Also, visit Nijo-jo Castle, home of the first shogun and known for its “nightingale floors”.

Day 9: Kyoto / Osaka / Return Home
