Come visit this marine animal care and rehabilitation center and meet many local marine species!
The Clearwater Aquarium cares for a multitude of species, and your visit will begin with an exploration of the various educational exhibits, where you'll learn about the aquarium's conservation efforts. You'll observe dolphins, sea turtles, rays and many other marine species in their recreated habitats. You'll also have the chance to get up close to Winter the dolphin's tank, whose special story was adapted into a film in 2011. In the Otter Zone you'll meet North American otters, and further afield you'll discover nurse sharks and many other animals.
The aquarium also features interactive exhibits ideal for children, where they can touch some of the sea creatures and learn more about the importance of protecting the oceans. There are also educational shows and presentations, as well as animal feeding sessions.
At the end of your visit, you'll have the opportunity to visit the aquarium's gift store, where you can purchase items related to marine life and conservation efforts.
