After being picked up from your hotel, you'll leave Taipei for northern Taiwan, to discover the monuments and landmarks of Jiufen and Shifen, accompanied by a local guide.
You'll start the day with a stop in Jiufen, a hillside village famous for its picturesque, bustling lanes. You'll stroll through its alleys, where you can if you wish explore original stores or sample local specialties while admiring the breathtaking view of the sea and surrounding hills.
Next, head for Shifen, renowned for its tradition of releasing lanterns. You'll have the opportunity to personalize your lantern by inscribing your wishes, then watch it fly up into the sky after lighting it, a much-loved local custom.
You'll also admire the Shifen waterfall, nicknamed "Taiwan's Niagara Falls", where you can capture memorable photos of this natural spectacle.
You'll continue the tour with the Yin Yang Sea, renowned for its contrasting colors, and the Golden Waterfall, where mineral reflections create a breathtaking view at sunrise and sunset.
