Description

Don your wetsuit and set off to explore Bora Bora's seabed with your professional instructor!

Bora Bora is the perfect place for a first-time diver! You'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the dive centre to collect your equipment and meet your professional instructor.

Next, you'll hop aboard the boat where your instructor will explain everything there is to know about your first dive. First you'll learn the coded language used by certified divers and how to breathe using the oxygen tank before going on to explore the seabed!

No specific skills are required beforehand, and according to your own comfort level in the water and your pace, you'll set off to discover Bora Bora's marine flora and fauna. Your instructor will be by your side throughout your session in the water. After your return to dry land, you'll be driven back to your hotel.

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Times: activity starts between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm (our partner will contact you to confirm the exact time of your activity)
  • Departure point: your hotel on the island of Bora Bora or its motus
  • The activity is not accessible for children under 6
  • PLEASE NOTE: because of the pressure, do not fly on and take part in this diving activity on the same day!
  • For an introduction to scuba diving, there is 1 instructor for 2 divers, and for the optional additional sessions there is 1 instructor for 4 divers
  • The introduction lasts about 2 hours, with 30 minutes of immersion at a maximum depth of 6 metres
  • Diving sessions last about 2 hours each, with 45-50 minutes of immersion
  • No medical certificate is required for this activity
  • If you have to cancel for medical reasons, an 80% refund will be issued upon presentation of a medical certificate
  • You'll be asked to fill in a medical form on site by our partner in order to take part in this activity
  • The dive site is chosen in the morning according to the weather conditions on the day to ensure you the best possible experience
