Starting from Trogir or Split, you'll head for Bosnia-Herzegovina, located on Croatia's eastern border. You'll make your first stop at Počitelj after about two hours on the road. The medieval village of Počitelj is built on a cliff on the banks of the River Neretva, known for its Ottoman Empire-influenced architecture represented by the Hadji-Alijina Mosque, which dates back to the 16th century. You'll enjoy a Turkish coffee, prepared according to the original recipe. The second stop of your day is the town of Mostar, which you will visit on foot in the company of a professional local guide.
