Discover the spectacular landscapes of the Andes during a hike on snowshoes!

Your guide will collect you from your hotel in central Santiago and drive you by private vehicle to a small Swiss chalet in the middle of the Andes.

Upon arrival, enjoy a coffee or a hot chocolate with cakes to prepare yourself for the walk ahead. After your snack, you’ll attach your snowshoes and set off on a 2-hour hike through the snow. Your guide will adapt the walk to suit your pace, allowing you to take full advantage of the views across the Andes.

Back at the chalet, a full lunch prepared by a Swiss chef awaits you. Your guide will then drive you back to your hotel for the late-afternoon.

  • Availability: Monday to Saturday from June to September (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 10 hrs. approx. (including 2 hours of hiking)
  • Time: 8am
  • Departure point: your hotel

  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the tour operator on the day
  • Warm and comfortable but breathable clothing and footwear are recommended
  • Remember to take a backpack, sunglasses and sunscreen
  • Snowshoeing requires no special physical condition/previous experience
  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to go ahead

  • If your hotel is not located in one of the above areas, you can join the tour at the main meeting point in Providencia (address indicated on your voucher
