After a short walk of around 600m, you'll reach the viewpoint of the main crater, at an altitude of 2,708 meters. Accompanied by a certified naturalist guide, you'll discover the most captivating facts about this site, while admiring the panoramic view.
Located in Poás Park, you'll also explore Botos Lake, considered a second crater of the volcano. After enjoying the enchanting surroundings of Poás Park, you'll head to Hacienda Alsacia.
Hacienda Alsacia is a coffee plantation owned by the global Starbucks group. During your visit, you'll immerse yourself in the world of sustainable coffee and learn more about the coffee-making process. An enriching experience awaits you in the company of your guide and agronomists, concluding with an on-site tasting.
