Climb aboard this famous American Aircraft carrier: the USS HOrnet (CV-12). During your visit, learn more about the the ship's construction in 1943. It was used during WWII as well during amphibious embarkments in the Pacific. This was the ship that pickedup the astronauts from Apollo 11 and 12 after their missions to the Moon.
