Discover the natural wonders of Dhofar on a private 4x4 excursion from Salalah!
You'll start your day with a 4x4 adventure through the Dhofar mountains, departing from Salalah. You'll pass through the picturesque village of Taqa and enjoy a stop to admire the panoramic view from the Taqah plateau.
Then on to the "Wadi Darbat", a unique place surrounded by lush vegetation and waterfalls (visible during the monsoon season). You'll be able to stroll along the riverbed, where you could potentially come across herds of camels, goats and cattle.
Your next stop will be one of the world's largest sinkholes, the Tawi Attair Sinkhole, also known as the "Well of the Birds". After this visit, you'll continue your excursion to the Jebel Samhan plateau, nicknamed the "Grand Canyon" of Dhofar, from where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the east coast and surrounding mountains.
At the end of the day, you'll drive through the picturesque Jebali villages of the Qara massif, with several photo stops to capture the beauty of these landscapes.
In the middle of the day, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant. You'll be back at your hotel in Salalah by evening.
