Discover Corcovado and Santa Teresa on a private excursion from Rio de Janeiro!
You'll start your day with an early departure from your hotel, for a half-day rich in discovery. In a van, you'll take the road through the forest to the top of Corcovado, that iconic hill over 700 meters high. From here, you'll enjoy an exceptional 360° panorama of Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Copacabana and the favelas, surrounded by the Tijuca forest.
Next, you'll continue on to Santa Teresa, a bohemian neighborhood perched on several hills. Strolling through its cobbled streets, you'll discover 19th-century mansions, artists' studios and trendy bars. Your visit will include the Parc des Ruines, a former mansion now transformed into an art space. You'll also have the opportunity to sample a local specialty on this stroll.
Finally, your day will end with a descent of the famous Selarón stairs, covered in colorful mosaics by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón. After this discovery-filled adventure, you'll be taken back to your hotel in the late morning.
