Imagined by Philippe de Villiers in 1977 and performed by more than 3,400 volunteers known as "Puyfolais", "Cinéscénie®" brings together 1,200 actors on an epic stage of 23 hectares. 

Immerse yourself in this enchanting 90-minute tale that recounts the history of the Vendée region and the saga of the Maupillier peasants. Performed on a set built around the Puy du Fou castle – the biggest stage in the world – a deluge of advanced technology is used to wow spectators. Tremble with emotion as you behold the spectacular displays of fire and water combined with incredible special effects!

The latest additions to the show include new stage lighting, 3D video projections, new scenes and new special effects, giving spectators and even more impressive experience!

  • The Cinéscénie® show begins at 10:30pm in June/July and 10pm in August/September. Spectators are asked to arrive 1 hour before the start of the show
  • For your comfort, warm clothes are recommended for the Cinéscénie® show
  • Entry to the park is free for children under the age of 3 years. All minors must be accompanied by an adult to enter the park, to attend the shows and to visit the attractions. Similarly, minors may not leave the park without an adult present
  • Puy du Fou offers stroller/pushchair rental at the "Bourg 1900" (fee-based service within the limit of available stocks)
  • Puy du Fou offers wheelchairs for persons with reduced mobility (within the limit of available stocks, reservation recommended)
  • Pets are not allowed inside the park (except guide dogs and assistance dogs)
  • Getting to Puy du Fou 
    By car: Follow the A87 motorway and take exit n° 28.
    By train: Travel to the TGV train station in Angers (1 hr. 30 mins from Paris) + take the shuttle bus that runs between the station and the Park (reservation required)
