This activity allows you to choose the package of your choice from the 5 on offer: from just wine tasting, to learning how to pair food and wine, to a full workshop to unravel and explain specific topics, there's something for everyone!
When you book you'll need to choose one of the 5 packages on offer:
- Tasting 3 different wines
- Tasting 5 different wines
- Pairing food and cheese with wine: Tasting 3 different wines and 3 cheeses
- Pairing food and truffles withe wine: Tasting 2 different wines and 2 chocolate truffles
- "Explaining wine" workshop: Tasting 5 wines
The "Explaining wine" workshop is the most comprehensive workshop you'll find in Porto. This workshop will enable you to tackle one of the themes of your choice to understand and clarify specific oenological topics. You can choose one of the topics on site, from the following:
- How to taste wine: learn the basics of wine, the terms commonly used to describe wine and how to feel more comfortable choosing a wine.
- Port wine: discover the magic of port wine, where it comes from, how it's made and what makes it so unique.
- The Portuguese wine regions: discover Portugal through its wine. Get to know 5 different Portuguese wine regions and their characteristics by tasting their wines.
- Wine and chocolate pairing: understand the key elements of perfectly pairing wine and chocolate, including tasting 5 types of chocolate!
