You will be driven from your hotel to the town of Versailles to discover the marvellous Palace of Versailles and its estate.
Built to celebrate the glory and power of the French monarchy, the palace has some 2,300 rooms! As for the grounds, they stretch over 715 hectares, 93 of which are classic French formal gardens.
You will have an opportunity to fully explore this historic estate, classed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Visit the grand royal apartments, which served as the king and queen's reception rooms, and admire the glorious Hall of Mirrors, built with 400 mirrors to dazzle visitors of Louis XIV, known as the "Sun King".
After lunch in the park, you will be guided around the Grand and Petit Trianon palaces and visit the Queen's Hamlet.
