Set off on a snowshoe hike through snow-covered forests, accompanied by a professional guide!
You'll meet your guide in the center of Oslo, in front of the tourist office, and take the metro for an original journey that offers panoramic views of the Norwegian capital's winter landscapes. You'll arrive at Frognerseteren, Oslo's most northerly station overlooking the city and its fjord.
You'll don snowshoes and your guide will give you hiking poles, then after a safety briefing you'll start your walk through forests covered in a beautiful white coat and along frozen ponds. You'll make your first stop at a Norwegian hut called Fuglemyrhytta, your guide will explain the origin and importance of these huts in Norwegian culture, and enjoy a hot drink before continuing your activity.
Your guide will share with you interesting information about Norwegian winter traditions and the animals that live here, so keep your eyes peeled, you're sure to come across a deer or fox on your way!
At the end of your hike, you'll reach the metro stop at Frognerseteren and be driven back to your starting point.
