You'll depart from Orlando and head for the boat's embarkation point. Your destination will be Circus County and Crystal River, the only place where you can swim with manatees in Florida. You'll have the opportunity to swim with the manatees or observe them from the boat. Manatees remain wild animals, so you won't be able to approach them on your own, but they love human contact and may approach you for petting.
Back on land, you can change before having lunch. Then your day continues at Ellie Schiller Homosassa State WidLifePark. This park is packed with animals, from Florida panthers to black bears. Manatees undergoing rehabilitation before returning to nature can be found in the park's ponds.
You'll be taken back to Orlando after the day.
