Description
Take the comedy genius of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park, add Broadway staging and a hilarious story, then mix it all together and to get "The Book of Mormon"!
The play follows two Mormon missionaries, Elder Kevin Price and Elder Arnold Cunningham. One is a passionate missionary and a devout believer, whilst the other is an obese, antisocial geek who knows nothing about the sacred Mormon scriptures.
These two missionaries are sent to Uganda to preach the word of the Church of Jesus Christ... But the Elders find themselves slightly lost in the midst of a village more preoccupied with famine, poverty, war and AIDS than religion.
Featuring raw and explicit language, "The Book of Mormon" is a satirical musical, and a sharp critique of religion in general.
