Discover the “Southern Pearl” of Morocco and its numerous historical landmarks all in 1 day!
Accompanied by your driver and guide, leave your hotel aboard a shuttlebus. The day will begin with a visit to the 70-meter high minaret of Koutoubia Mosque followed by a tour of the Bahia Palace built by over a thousand craftsmen during a period of 7 years.
Continue your tour by exploring the Saadian Tombs, the final resting place of sultans such as Ahmed el Mansour before pausing for lunch at a local restaurant. Your lunch will include a Moroccan salad, a kefta (meatballs) and egg tagine, seasonal fruits, tea and cake.
In the afternoon, head to the Menara Gardens. The site extends over 250 hectares and is home to over 40 different varieties of olive trees planted around a large basin. Discover the city’s authentic face by taking a stroll around the old Medina’s narrow market alleyways displaying products from basketry, spices, Berber carpets, rugs and jewelry.
At the end of the day, make your way to the central meeting point of the city’s inhabitants in Marrakech on Djemaa El Fna Square.
