Description

During this half day, set off and discover the Ourika Valley and meet a Berber family!

Departing from your hotel, set off in the company of your guide to the Ourika Valley, situated 30 kilometres from Marrakech and primarily populated by Berbers.

During the journey, marvel at the valley’s beautiful landscapes, mountains, small houses built on hillside crevices, and even the Ourika River and falls.

You will then be welcomed by a Berber family living in the mountains. They will offer you some mint tea to try.

After this half day meeting locals, you will be taken back to Marrakech for the start of the afternoon.

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Departure point: your hotel in Marrakech (this is only valid for hotels located in the urban area of Marrakech)
  • Time: 8:30am at your hotel for establishments located within the urban perimeter of Marrakech. If you are staying outside this area, a shuttle service may be available in the hotels to take you to the pick-up point for your excursion
  • Important: The transfer included is only valid for hotels and private accommodation located within the urban perimeter of Marrakech (Medina, Hivernage, Guéliz, etc.). If you are staying outside this perimeter (for example in the Palmeraie, Ourika road, Fez road or Ouarzazate road), a shuttle service may be available in the hotels to take you to the departure point for your city-centre excursion, which will be communicated to you after booking. Otherwise, you will need to take a taxi to get there.  
  • Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes approx.
  • Language: tour commentated in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish
     
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the service provider on the day
  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for this activity
