Set out to discover the landscapes of the three Atlas valleys!
Located south of Marrakech, the Atlas mountain range spans three North African countries, but it is in Morocco where its variously coloured rocks and verdant plains are most impressive.
Departing from Marrakech, you will leave in a private 4x4 vehicle with your driver-guide for an excursion to discover the three valleys of the Atlas Mountains, in the heart of the Berber culture.
The visit to the three valleys, the'Ourika, the Asni and the Amizmiz will be followed by an exploration of the Berber villages, where you will meet the local populations and discover the traditional architecture. If you take this tour on a Saturday or Tuesday, you will have the chance to experience the atmosphere of one of the souks (markets) in the region.
On the way, you will enjoy the landscapes with varied vegetation and learn more about the plants of the region and their benefits.
You will go to the most beautiful places in the High Atlas: the artificial lake of Lalla Takerkoust, which is used to supply Marrakech with water thanks to the melting of the snow, the Kik plateau, which will give you a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area, the Toubkal national park, the highest point of North Africa, as well as the Berber villages Moulay Brahim and Asni.
You can also, if you wish, take a hike to discover the seven waterfalls.
After this day, during which you will have learned more about the countryside, you will be taken back to Marrakech where you will arrive late afternoon.
