Description

Set off on a guided adventure in a jeep and explore all the hidden corners of the island of Gozo!

In the morning, after a transfer from your hotel, you will take a boat to the island of Gozo. On the island, you'll meet your guide and begin your trip in the jeep at around 10:30am.

Amongst others, you'll have the opportunity to visit Victoria, the capital of Gozo. It is best known for the medieval Citadelle, surrounded by fortified walls. You'll also discover the bay of Xlendi, which is a small seaside village located to the south-west of Gozo. During the summer season, aswimming stop in Gozo's beautiful bay is also included in the itinerary.

The other sites visited on your excursion are:

- Qala viewpoint (Qala)
- Ramla L-Hamra Bay and Valley (Xaghra)
- The Church of St John the Baptist (Xewkija)
- Ggantija megalithic temples (entrance ticket not included) (Xaghra)
- Sanap cliffs (winter only) (Munxar)
- Gozo Craft Centre (Time for shopping and free samples) (Gharb)
- Dwejra Bay and Inland Sea (boat trip not included) (San Lawrenz)
- The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu (Gharb)

- Xwejni Salt Works (Zebbug/Marsalforn)

The transfer back to the island of Malta will include a20-minute motorboat ride. You'll pass by 2 unmissable sights: The Blue Lagoon and the Comino Caves (weather permitting).

This jeep tour will take you off the beaten track for an authentic and memorable experience!

Good to know

  • Availability: every day (with some exceptions)
  • Location: pick-up from your accommodation
  • Times: morning transfers to arrive at Ċirkewwa qauy port at 9:30am. The exact time of the transfer will be reconfirmed after booking, depending on where you are staying. 
  • This is a chauffeur-driven tour, guests are not permitted to drive the jeeps
  • Depending on weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, the crossing may be made with the Gozo Channel ferry (included in the price)
  • The 20-minute return transfer by motorboat is not included for guests staying in Gozo (guests staying in Gozo will be transferred directly to their accommodation after the activity)
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (adverse weather or sea conditions, unforeseen operational constraints, etc.), the provider reserves the right tochange the programme or itinerary of the trip
  • Entrance tickets for the megalithic temples of Ggantija are not included
  • The Sanap cliffs canonly be visited in winter
  • The Dwejra Bay excursion isnot included in the price
  • During the summer season, a swimming stop in Gozo Bay is included in the itinerary
  • This excursion is operated with multilingual drivers, select your preferred language when booking
