Discover the highlights of Lyon in a day!
The day begins with a grand tour of Lyon by car! Your driver/guide will lead you through the city's various different neighbourhoods. You will explore the modern area of Confluence and the Cité Universitaire, as well as Vieux Lyon and the Presqu’île. At the top of Fourvière hill you will be able to admire the magnificent basilica and enjoy exceptional panoramic views over the entire city.
For lunch, your driver/guide will select a well-known Lyonnais "bouchon" for you to eat at. This is a great opportunity to sample some of the city's specialities in a typical local eatery.
In the afternoon you will visit the Saint Jean or Croix-Rousse traboules on foot. Your guide will lead you through the secret passages and reveal all of their historic secrets!
You will then go to visit the new Tunnel de la Croix-Rousse on foot. You will be won over by the magnificent lights in this unique location!
At the end of the day, your driver will accompany you back to your hotel.
