Description

Discover two emblematic sites in the Pyrenees in one day: the Pic du Midi and the Cirque de Gavarnie.

Start the day by taking a cable car up to the summit of the Pic du Midi which stands at 2,877 metres high. From the high viewing platforms, you can admire the majestic peaks of the Pyrenees mountain range and the landscapes of South-West France.

You'll then head to the charming village of Cauterets, famous for its thermal baths and ski slopes. On the road from Cauterets to Pont d'Espagne, you'll benefit from superb views of the surrounding landscapes.

Surrounded by summits that reach 3,000 metres high, enjoy a stroll through the mountain peaks and streams which have made this picturesque area of the Pyrenees so famous.

  • Availability: every day from Jan. 1 to May 10 and from May 30 to October 31 (subject to the opening of the Pic du Midi and excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 9 hours approx.
  • Time: 9:15am (hotel pick-up around 9am)
  • Departure point: your hotel or private residence in central Lourdes
  • Language: tour commentated in French, English, Spanish
  • To take part in this activity, simply present your voucher to the service provider on the day
  • Transport by air-conditioned people carrier (6 passengers maximum)
  • Activity not suitable for people with reduced mobility
  • The ascension to the Pic de Midi is not recommended for pregnant women, people suffering from cardiac problems or children under 3 years old
