Day 1: Santa Barbara, Route 1, Carmel
Departing Los Angeles, you'll set off for Santa Barbara. You'll visit a Spanish mission before continuing on to Solvang, a quaint little Danish community. You'll then take Highway 1 and explore Big Sur. You'll discover the small town of Carmel and then continue on to San Francisco.
Spend the night at the Santa Clara - La Quinta Inn & Suites in San Francisco.
Day 2: San Francisco
Spend the day in San Francisco. Explore Fisherman's Wharf. Embark on a cruise and admire the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. Spend the afternoon discovering the city's must-see sites and monuments. In the evening, take in the view of San Francisco from the Bay Bridge.
Spend the night at the Modesto - Park Inn Hotel in Modesto.
Day 3: Yosemite National Park
Travel through the San Joaquin Valley to Yosemite National Park, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada. You'll explore the park and discover Yosemite Falls, culminating at no less than 730 meters.
Spend the night at the Comfort Suites Stevenson Ranch.
Day 4: Death Valley and Las Vegas
En route to Las Vegas, you'll cross the desert and Death Valley. Stop for lunch at the Barstow Center. In the evening, you'll embark on a tour of the sumptuous Las Vegas hotels. The rest of the evening is free to explore the Vegas casinos.
Spend the night at the Linq Hotel in Las Vegas.
Day 5: Grand Canyon National Park
Drive southeast through the Navajo Indian Reservation before reaching the Grand Canyon. With your guide's commentary, you'll follow the Colorado River and learn more about the region. In the afternoon, you'll visit some of the many Native American markets in the area.
Spend the night at Clarion Inn Page in Arizona.
Day 6: Lake Powell and Bryce Canyon National Park
In the morning, you'll embark on a cruise on Lake Powell. The lake is full of canyons, creeks, salt pillars and other geological curiosities. Later, you'll explore Bryce Canyon National Park. You'll discover the atypical geological formations for which it's famous. Admire the play of colors in the canyon at sunset.
Spend the night at the Comfort Inn in Cedar City.
Day 7: Zion National Park
Spend your last day visiting Zion National Park. Half desert, half woodland, the park is a must-see natural site in the Southwest of the USA. You'll return to Los Angeles in the late evening.
