Description

Drive around the Greenwich district, where King Henry VIII was born, in a traditional London cab!

Meet your driver-guide at Waterloo station and embark on a private tour of the South Bank of the Thames.

Your tour will begin in the old district of Rotherhithe, where the Mayflower set sail for America with the pilgrim fathers on board. You will visit the shipyards of Henry VIII, located nearby.

Then head to Greenwich, a neighbourhood with a rich maritime history. Stop to see the Cutty Sark up close: the last clipper boat of its time still in good condition. Built in 1869, it was used for the tea trade in China and the wool trade in Australia.

Before continuing to the Royal Navy College, visit the highest point in Greenwich, the Royal Observatory. Make the most of one of the best views of the Thames and take plenty of photos.
