Visit Buckingham Palace at your own pace and learn more about the British monarchy with your audio guide !

The official residence of the royal family, this is where heads of state from around the world are received. Equipped with your audioguide, available in French, you'll learn more about this residence and explore the 19 state apartments that form the heart of Buckingham Palace. These apartments house royal treasures such as works by Rubens and Rembrandt, sculptures by Canova and Sèvres porcelain and are used for official receptions and royal ceremonies.

Your ticket also gives you access to the famous Throne Room.

You'll finish your visit with a self-guided stroll along the palace garden, which boasts over 30 varieties of birds and 350 varieties of flowers.

  • Availability: every day from July to August and Thursday to Monday in September (except in exceptional cases)
     
  • Please note: your ticket is only valid for the date and time booked, you will not be able to use it for another date or time
  • On arrival, please go to Buckingham Palace Ticket Office, Gate A, to exchange your voucher for your official ticket. There may be a queue
  • Please note that it is compulsory to print your voucher
  • If you arrive at 10.45am, you may also have the chance to watch the Changing of the Guard if it takes place on the day of your visit! However, please note that this is not guaranteed
  • Please note that there is no escort or guide, you will be free to visit the palace at your own pace
  • For safety reasons, the itinerary provides for a one-way path. You may take photos and videos (for private use) and use your cell phones in the gardens only. Phones must be switched off on the tour route and photography is not permitted inside
  • People with disabilities must book their visit directly with Buckingham Palace
  • For safety reasons, baby carriages are not allowed in the state rooms. They must be registered and collected at the exit. However, it can be loaned free of charge, subject to availability
