Description

Explore the south and east coasts of Oahu from the sky while in a helicopter!

You will head over from the port in Honolulu where you will catch sight of the Aloha tower. You will go over Waikiki beach and come to the stunning Diamond Head crater. You will then leave for the east coast of the island and fly over the magnificent Hanauma bay. By following the rocky coasts, you will glimpse the little lighthouse that hangover the Makapu'u cliff.

You will follow the island's beach, seeing its white snow and turquoise water before going back to Windward coast and its famous Lanikal Beach. You will fly over the forests and vallies, and you will enjoy a view of one of the biggest waterfalls of the island: the Sacred Falls.

Before landing back on solid groud, you will pass over Pearl Harbour and you will see the USS Arizona memorial from the sky.

While completing your reservation, you will be asked to choose from the following options:

No door: fully secure and without any additional costs, this 'doors-open' option allows you to do the flyover aboard a helicopter without  side doors! You will have the best view of the landscapes travelled across!

Closed door: the flyover will take place in a helicopter with side doors.

  • Departure times:
    • from 16 September to 15 April: every hour from 8am to 5pm
    • from 16 April to 15 September: every hour from 8am to 6pm
  • Departure location: Honolulu Heliport
  • Duration: about a 45 minute flight

 

  • The maximum capacity of the helicopter is 3 people plus the pilot. Each passenger has a seat by a window to get the best view
  • You will be asked to shpw your passport or ID card on the day of the flight
  • The flight is is free for children under 2 years old, so long as they are seated on an adult's lap
  • Each passenger must be of a maximum weight of 136kg or below. For all passengers above the weight of 114kg, a supplementary seat must also be reserved for security reasons. A 50% reduction is applied to the second seat
  • This activity is dependent on weather conditions. In the case of a cancellation, you will be offered an alternative date or a refun
  • For the open-door flights, we advise that you come equipped with a jacket and for any long hair to be tied
  • You need to arrive at least 60 minutes before your departure time
