Description

Discover the many natural and cultural sites of the island of Oahu on a day trip!

The island of Oahu offers those who come to visit a stunning array of landscapes. The Pacific Ocean as far as the eye can see, majestic mountain ranges, waves crashing on white-sand beaches, urban bustle and battleships together define the character of this land. Also known as the "meeting point", the island of Oahu has succeeded in blending the traditions and values of native Hawaiians with those of the Western population. This melting pot lends a special charm to the island, which is home to the majority of Hawaii's population.

On the program for your excursion:
- Kahala Avenue: known as "Hawaii's Beverly Hills", you'll be able to admire magnificent multimillion-dollar properties. You can admire the majestic Diamond Head and Kahala's Gold Coast, and pass by the epic beaches of Sandy's and Makapu'u.
- The Halona wind tunnel: waves rush into the cave and act like a geyser as they emerge through a hole formed in the rock. Impressive jets of water are regularly projected into the air.
- Nu'uanu Pali lookout: a historic site offering one of Oahu's most breathtaking views.
- Byodo-In temple: a replica of a Byodo-In temple in Japan located on the slopes of the Ko'olau mountain range. The Byodo-In temple commemorates the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. Its magnificent peacocks and hundreds of Japanese koi carp contribute to making it one of the most peaceful and picturesque places on the island.
- Waimea Valley: enjoy the calm of nature all around you, with its beautiful flowers, rare flats, cultural sites and waterfall for swimming.
- Chinese Hat (or Mokolii): an islet in Kaneohe Bay named after the conical hat worn by Chinese immigrants.North Shore surf spots: the famous Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay will be visible from your vehicle as it passes through the territory known for its impressive winter waves and international surfing competitions.
- The town of Haleiwa: a historically preserved surf town, with stores and restaurants popular with visitors and locals alike. It's the gateway to the North Shore for those arriving from Honolulu, and is the region's largest shopping center.
- Dole Plantation: a must-visit to discover the history of pineapples in Hawaii. You'll taste these delicious fruits, which are part of the island's heritage and enjoyed the world over. The last must-see stop before returning to Waikiki.
