Discover the magnificent landscapes of the South African peninsula, departing from Cape Town. With fine sandy beaches, charming towns, and vineyards along the Garden Route, you'll be amazed by the incredible and diverse scenery South Africa has to offer!

Over the course of your tour, you'll see the following sites:

Day 1

  • Montagu, a picturesque town popular with tourists thanks to its mineral springs
  • Barrydale, a local farm school where you can attend a class with the students
  • Oudtshoorn, the "ostrich feather capital of the world", where you can visit an ostrich farm
  • Overnight accommodation in Oudtshoorn

Day 2

  • The Cango caves, impressive limestone caves worn away by the elements over time
  • The Swartberg Mountains, where you can reach the' summit via the famous Swartberg Pass
  • Overnight accommodation in Oudtshoorn

Day 3

  • George, the Garden Route''s administrative centre
  • Knysna, a town renowned for its oyster farms
  • Featherbed Nature Reserve, where you can take a cruise on the lagoon surrounded by nature
  • Overnight accommodation in Knysna

Day 4

  • Tsitsikamma, an ancient and indigenous forest
  • Bloukrans Bridge, a gigantic bridge with the highest bungee jump in the world
  • Plettenberg Bay, cliffs overlooking glorious fine sandy beaches

Day 5

  • Mossel Bay, a harbour town at the heart of the Garden Route
  • Cape Dutch, a charming town nestled at the foot of Langeberg Mountain
  • Hermanus, renowned worldwide as a great place for whale-watching
  • Overnight accommodation in Hermanus

Day 6

  • Stellenbosch, the heart of South Africa''s Winelands, where you can enjoy a wine tasting session
  • Return to Cape Town at the end of the day

You'll be taken on a guided tour at each of these sites during the trip, and you will also have free time to wander around at your own pace. On this relaxed tour, you'll see an array of memorable sights that demonstrate the diversity of the South African Peninsula.

  • Availability:  Wednesdays or Thursdays (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 6 days/5 nights
  • Departure time: 8 am

  • To take part in this activity, simply show your booking voucher to the local tour operator on the day
  • Children under the age of 8 cannot take part in this excursion
  • Luggage allowance: 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage (handbag or backpack) per person
  • Please note: only certain meals are included in the trip (5 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners). Other meals are not included in the tour price
  • The visit to the farm school depends on the opening dates of the school and may be cancelled if it is closed
  • Whale-watching is a seasonal activity which is only possible between August and November
  • Goint up to the Swartberg Mountain summit is only possible in favourable weather conditions
  • The excursion may be cancelled if there is only one participant. If this is the case, a refund will be issued or an alternative date offered
  • On the way back, you can be dropped off directly at the airport if you wish (we recommend you request this service directly with our partner upon arrival)
