With the Express Tour, you will visit the following places:

  • Sea Point: The city's historical suburb, a place of racial segregation during the apartheid era.
  • Camps Bay: Famous for its magnificent beaches and exciting night life.
  • Table Mountain National Park: A magnificent mountain overlooking the city of Cape Town.
  • The Cape of Good Hope: the famous cape situated in the extreme South of the African continent
  • Cape Point Nature Reserve: a superb reserve with an incredible ocean view. There, you will come across wild animals (ostriches, baboons, etc.)
  • Fish Hoek and Muizenberg: Two very popular seaside resorts.
  • You will also see Cape Town University, the Rhodes Memorial and Groote Schuur Hospital (site of the first heart transplant in the world).

With the Complete Tour, you will visit the aforementioned sites as well as:

  • Hout Bay: Offers 180° view of the bay from Chapman’s Peak Drive. Depending on the time available, you will also be able to enjoy a boat trip to Duiker Island, an island populated by thousands of fur seals (at your own cost).
  • Simon's Town: An old naval base harbouring historic ships. Also discover the colony of penguins during an observation session at Boulders Beach (at your own cost).
  • Fish Hoek and Muizenberg: Two very popular seaside resorts.
  • Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden: One of the largest botanical gardens in the world. (This stop won't be available starting november 1rst 2021, replaced by a stop with tea and cake at the Rhodes Memorial restaurant)
  • You will also see Cape Town University, the Rhodes Memorial (unavailable temporarily) and Groote Schuur Hospital (site of the first heart transplant in the world).

This tour will depart from Cape Town city centre by shuttle bus. There will be walking tours at the various stops. Prepare yourself for some breathtaking landscapes!

  • Express tour
    The Cape Peninsula's most beautiful sites: Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Table Mountain National Park, Simon's Town, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg. Transport from Cape Town included.
  • Full Tour
    As well as Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Table Mountain, Simon's Town, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg, you will visit Duiker Island, Boulders Beach (NB: it will cost an additional $10 - $15, payable on site, for the cruise to watch the wild penguins). Transport from Cape Town included.

Good to know

  • Availability: every day except saturday (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: around 4 hrs 30 mins (express tour) or 8 hours (full tour)
  • Departure time: 8:00am. Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time
  • Departure point: you can choose to go directly to the meeting point or to be picked up at or near your hotel (the meeting point will be confirmed after booking)
     
  • To take part in this activity simply present your booking voucher to the local tour operator on the day
  • If you have booked a "full tour", we remind you that your shuttle will take you to Duiker Island (depending on the time available) and Boulders Beach but you will pay on arrival for the cruise around the island (approx. 70 ZAR / $7) and the penguin watching (approx. 55 ZAR / $5)
  • Children aged under 2 years cannot take part in this activity.
  • Guided tours in German are available every day apart from Sunday and are valid with the "Full Tour" option only
  • Activity subject to cancellation in the event of insufficient participants or bad weather conditions. In this case an alternative date or a refund will be proposed
  • Transport will be by sedan or luxury air-conditioned van
  • Please note: meals are not included in this tour
