Description

Enjoy a walking tour of East Berlin with a professional guide and see an alternative side to the German capital!

You'll meet your professional guide on the famous Friedrichstraße, the street that runs through the entire centre of Berlin. You'll start your tour on foot to the Tränenpalast (Palace of Tears) and follow the traces of the Cold War to the point where the East and West of the city were once divided. You'll continue your visit with must-see sites such as the Humboldt University, Museum Island, the Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) and the DDR Museum. The second part of your guided walking tour will plunge you into the everyday life of East Berlin in the 90s, where you'll see an alternative side to the city with its clubs and the Hackesche Höfe, an artistic and cultural hub. The tour ends at the Berlin Wall Memorial.
