Description

Discover the world of the modern cowboy! Ride away on your horse and enjoy a delicious authentic western-style barbecue!

Get on your horse or climb aboard a carriage and explore the surroundings of Sulphur Mountain. Then, stop off at the bottom of Sundance Canyon. There, you will enjoy a delicious barbecue prepared by real cowboys.

Your return journey will be along the banks of the Bow River.

  • Seasonal activity: May to October only
  • Availability: every day except in exceptional cases
  • Starting point : Banff Trail Riders Warner Stables
     
  • At the time of booking, you'll have a choice between a horseback ride and a wagon ride. The horseback ride option is only available for the 4pm, 4:30pm and 5pm (dinner)
  • Children under 8 are not allowed to ride
  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult
  • Children participating in the tour will ride their own horse or travel in the carriage  they may not ride in front of or behind an adult
  • People weighing more than 113 kg/230 lbs are not allowed to take part in this activity
  • You must arrive at the stables 30 minutes before departure time
  • Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes, pants and weather-appropriate clothing
