Delve into Ancient Greece for 2 days and discover iconic monuments such as the Theatre of Epidaurus and the Mycenae Fortress.
1st day: After leaving Athens, you will make a short stop at the Corinth Canal, and see the archaeological site of Mycenae, including the tomb of Agamemnon. You will have the possibility to purchase some souvenirs.
You will then head to Nafplio, where you will have a free afternoon to visit the Venetian fortress of Palamidi or go for a swim. You can also visit the annex of the National Gallery in Nafplio (optional, not included).
You will then enjoy a night in Nafplio.
2nd day: You will have a free morning to wander around the old town with its neo-classic houses and quaint streets.
Then, you will see the Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation "V. Papantoniou".
Around noon, you will head to Epidaurus to see the old theatre. You will arrive in Athens in the afternoon.
