Meet the animals of the savannah and explore Tarangire National Parks and Ngorongoro Crater on a 2-day safari!
Day 1: Tarangire
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha (or from the airport) and driven to Tarangire National Park, famous for its many large herds of elephants. It is the 6th largest park in Tanzania with an area of over 2,500km². In a comfortable 4x4 vehicle, accompanied by your ranger guide, you will make your way through the baobabs in search of the famous animals of the savannah: gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and birds of all kinds! You will be close to nature, observing the animals in their natural environment without disturbing them.
Lunch in the form of a picnic lunch is included, dinner is not included, overnight in hotel in Karatu, close to Ngorongoro Park
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
This is one of the must-see sites in northern Tanzania. It is the largest intact, unsubmerged volcanic caldera in the world. Ngorongoro is known as "Africa's Garden of Eden" due to the abundant presence of savannah animals all year round. Ngorongoro is also one of the last places in Africa to be home to the endangered black rhino. In the early morning, you will descend the crater by 4x4. You will spend the day exploring the park and observing the animals.
Picnic lunch included, return to Arusha late in the day.
