This kayak adventure off the coast of Sesimbra will take you to the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park and the remote Ribeiro do Cavalo beach!
Leaving from Lisbon or Setúbal, you'll enjoy a transfer to the small town of Sesimbra, an old fishing village located in the Setúbal district. Today, Sesimbra is a seaside resort popular with the Portuguese for its idyllic beaches and its proximity to the Arrábida nature park.
On arrival, you'll enjoy half an hour's free time to stroll around Sesimbra's fishing port, and explore its coastline.
You'll meet your guide near the harbour, and be given a lifejacket and waterproof bag. You will then set off to discover one of Europe's most biodiverse areas: the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park. Your guide will provide a commentary throughout the tour, while you admire the scenery: cliffs, caves, the forest of the Arrábida Natural Park, remote coves...
You'll stop at Ribeiro do Cavalo beach, one of the most beautiful remote beaches in the region.
At the end of your kayak trip, you'll reach Sesimbra and enjoy an hour and a half of free time for lunch and a stroll around Sesimbra. You will then be driven back to Lisbon or Setúbal.
