Giethoorn boasts a picturesque landscape of canals, traditional thatched cottages and lush green gardens. On arrival, you will board a panoramic boat for a one-hour guided cruise. You'll explore the canals, learn more about the history of the village of Giethoorn and enjoy a platter of Dutch cheeses typical of the region. After the cruise, you'll enjoy some free time (around 3 hours) to discover Giethoorn at your leisure: have lunch in one of the many cafés, buy some Dutch cheese in the famous Willig Cheese shop or take a stroll along the canals to enjoy the almost fairytale-like scenery. You'll be taken back to the centre of Amsterdam after this relaxing excursion to Giethoorn!
